Excellent stock pot, heavy duty, high quality, USA made!
This is a truly excellent stock pot. We purchased the 20qt version for large stews and soups as well as making broths from bones/carcases, which this pot handles with ease. We also plan to use this for home canning, but haven't had it at the end of a harvest season yet, but we will this year! Heats up quickly on our gas stove and is easy to clean. We searched long and hard to find a high quality, glass lid, American made stainless steel stock pot and we couldn't be happier with our American Kitchen pot. The etched graduations along the interior of the pot are very handy when making large meals too!
FEBRUARY 2012 UPDATE:
I accidentally broke the glass lid for the stock pot (I dropped it from about 6' - so it was NOT a defect on behalf of Regal Ware) and needed to order a replacement. I contacted Regal Ware directly (as they list replacement lids on their website for their fry pans, but not their stock pots) and they e-mailed me back that they would be shipping me...
A good homebrew pot
I bought this pot for the sole purpose of boiling wort for my home brew. I've only used it once so far but it seems solidly built and durable.
Excellent Quality
This stock pot is very well made. It has a nice weight to it and the glass lid fits perfectly, which shows the high quality of this American made pot. I highly recommend this pot and I planing on buying more in different sizes.
