Poor quality, poor customer service
Our old bamboo steamers finally gave way, we took the plunge and order 2 sets. Unlike our beloved old steamer, these steamers do not sit properly in the wok because they are not that round. Steam escapes between the layers, so the vegetables remain uncooked. We love our old bamboo steamers from day one to to this day, they still give off that pleasant bamboo smell. These do not smell at all. The bamboo steamers we received are not like those in the picture, they were stapled together, not held together by bamboo strings.
Customer service did not allow us to return because it has been used. All over amazon, customers return items after using them. We sent a second email, waited 2 days and no reply. Luckily we only used one set, whatever it is, the unused set is going back.
12-inch Bamboo Steamer
This works fine but the size is really intended for "restaurant" quantity cooking and it will only fit over the largest of your pans. The quality if nice and it was shipped quickly.
