Silit Fresh 7-Quart High Casserole with Lid, Lemon Green

Works well with my induction range
I've only used it once so far to cook spaghetti in it. It came to a boil very quickly, didn't scratch my cooktop, and cleaned up easily. It's a little heavier than I expected. It seems to be very good quality. All surfaces are nice and shiny. I will learn more about it as I continue to use it.

Reed & Barton Silver-plated 2-Quart Round Covered Casserole

Attractive and Functional
I was given this same casserole as a wedding gift almost 25 years ago and I needed another one so I recently purchased this one on Amazon. I've used this casserole at home for special dinners, holidays and I've also used this casserole to carry dishes to parties or other dining events. It's very attractive and will hold a casserole or anything you would normally bake in a 2qt. casserole dish. It will need polishing every now and then and since it's silver-plated, don't use anything that will scratch it or remove the plating. Store it in a box with with tissue paper to help retard tarnishing between uses if you don't like to polish on a regular basis.

Chantal Copper Fusion 6 Quart Casserole with lid, Platinum

Chantal has produced an excellent product.
This product is an excellent investment for the quality of cooking you can achieve with the copper fusion Chantal has placed in the product. Yes, it cooks an excellent soup and chili, but my favorite is how the Indian Curry blends together in the pot.

Lids for Chantal CF are faulty
I purchased Chantal copper fusion cookware for use on an induction cooktop. I have no complaints about the pots and pans, but there is clearly either a design flaw or manufacturing defect with the lids. I have read other reviews complaining that water gets between the glass lid and the metal ring. My problem s different: every single lid shows varying degrees of metal rust in the area that is under the glass portion.
I contacted the Chantal company customer service and submitted the photos they requested. Never heard back from them despite more emails that I sent.
I think at these prices they should be able to deliver a product that does not rust and most certainly should respond when they receive a customer inquiry. Very disappointed and will not recommend this cookware to anyone.
